“I think no human being can give
more than this:
Making life possible for the Other, if only for a moment.”
- Martin Buber |

"We are between stories. The old story,
the account of how the world came to be and how we fit into it,
is no longer effective. Yet we have not learned the new story.”
Thomas Berry, Theologian

"Put down the weight of your aloneness and
ease into
the conversation. The kettle is singing
even as it pours you a drink, the cooking pots
have left their arrogant aloofness and
seen the good in you at last. All the birds
and creatures of the world are unutterably
themselves. Everything is waiting for you."
